The Human Resource Training Center of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (Pusdiklat KLHK) collaborated with FORCLIME to organise a workshop related to the implementation of eLearning in Pusdiklat KLHK. The workshop aimed at identifying and preparing the materials required to increase the Training Center’s capacity for managing eLearning. It is clear that both the management board, lecturers (Widyaiswara) and administrative staff need to be involved in the development and management of eLearning. The ToT was attended by 25 participants including Widyaiswara, the Pusdiklat KLHK eLearning team, and focal points of the Training Center. It was conducted from 6-10 June 2016 in Bogor.
Since 2014, Pusdiklat KLHK and FORCLIME have been collaborating for the development of eLearning in the Training Center. Additional support was provided by AIZ, a GIZ training institution for international cooperation. The workshop is part of AIZ’s exit strategy in Pusdiklat KLHK, as AIZ support will end at the end of 2016. Some achievements of this cooperation include: preparation of the road map for eLearning development; completion of four blended learning modules; testing of the blended learning method; establishment of a eLearning team; strengthening the capacity of structural officials, lecturers and staff related to eLearning; and establishment of eLearning networks.
