The Center for Planning and Development Human Resources of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (Pusrenbang SDM KLHK) in cooperation with FORCLIME organized a training on Writing Articles and Photography on 17 - 18 April 2017 in Jakarta. The training, attended by 15 officials and staff of Pusrenbang SDM, aimed to improve writing skills in order to promote the activities of Pusrenbang SDM through website media.

During the opening speech, the Head of Pusrenbang SDM said that Pusrenbang SDM as a government institution needs to proactively provide information that is relevant to its role to the public in an objective and transparent manner. Furthermore he said, Pusrenbang SDM has done many activities that benefit the Indonesian society, but due to the lack of promotion and publications it has not been known by the wider public.

In the training, FORCLIME shared experiences related to FORCLIME’s information and knowledge management, including its website content management and other best practices.

As a follow up of this training, participants will write articles and will reviewed them together in early May 2017 before they are posted on the Human Resources Development website of the Ministry.
