Aiming to align the long-term forest management plan of the Forest Management Unit (RPHJP KPH) with the West Kalimantan Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), the Forest Service conducted a meeting and invited various parties at the provincial level, namely Bappeda, the Office of Community and Village Empowerment, technical units of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) in West Kalimantan (BPKH, BPHP, BPDAS and BKSDA), representatives of local NGOs and conducted a discussion on nine documents of the Forest Management Unit Long-Term Forest Management Plan (RPHJP KPH) for 2020-2029. The discussion was carried out on 18-22 November 2019 in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The planning document is a guide for the implementation of the FMU programmes and forestry activities at the field level. The meeting was led by the West Kalimantan Provincial Forestry Service with the support from the technical units of the MoEF and GIZ.
